Living in the community - Bucharest New(2013-2014)

Argument
Oscillating between the need for intimacy and the encounter with others, living remains the central subject of architecture. The exercise seeks to capture the possible modulations of the link between the home, lived as the center of the world, and the neighborhood.

Objectives and competencies
Having the pretext of habitation, neighborhood and community, the study seeks, above all, to form a critical and ethical consciousness about the means and consequences of architecture.

This primary goal translates into the understanding that architecture interferes with something that is already there (what is already built or what occurs naturally, place, uses, activities, needs, people, materials, etc.) in the sense of understanding , caring for and integrating this data (or sustainable development in its prime sense). Over this "already given" overlap the new data of a will to build, formulated briefly in the design theme. In this sense, the main competencies that the exercise seeks
